The 31st Hongseong Namdang Port Jumbo Shrimp Festival is Hongseong’s signature autumn food festival, where visitors can enjoy the pristine waters of Cheonsuman Bay and fresh jumbo shrimp in season. Held at Namdang Port, one of the West Coast’s leading culinary tourist destinations, the festival offers plump, in-season jumbo shrimp along with beautiful sea views, a variety of performances, and other activities. The 2026 festival will take place throughout the Namdang Port area from September 4 to November 8. Opening performances will be held from September 4 to 6, followed by Chuseok performances from September 25 to 26. The opening and Chuseok performances will feature a variety of artists, including Bin Ye-seo and Park Hyeon-bin, as well as Jang Do-hyeon, Yu Do-hyeon, Kim Jeong-a, and Kim Seo-yeon, adding to the festive atmosphere. Namdang Port is a major tourist destination in Cheonsuman Bay, which is rich in a variety of seafood, including jumbo shrimp and gizzard shad. During the festival, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local cuisine while taking in the beautiful sunset over the West Sea. It is Hongseong’s signature autumn festival, where families, couples, and friends can enjoy food, performances, and seaside scenery all in one place.
