Gyeonggi Ceramics Biennale (경기도자비엔날레)

September 18, 2026 - November 1, 2026

Overview

The 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramics Biennale is Korea’s leading international ceramics and cultural arts event, hosted by the Korea Ceramic Foundation. It will be held from September 18 to November 1, 2026, across Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi-do. Under the theme “Earth Makes,” the biennale will showcase new possibilities and values in ceramics created through the interplay of clay, nature, technology, and art. In addition to international exhibitions and competitions, academic programs, and international workshops, a variety of content will be offered, including the Kids Biennale, hands-on programs, a Craft Festa, a ceramics market, and a traveling biennale. As a cultural arts festival where local residents, Korean artists, and tourists can participate together, the event is designed to provide opportunities to experience ceramic culture throughout Gyeonggi-do.
