*The food offerings described below are from the 2025 festival, and information about the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* Held in Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do, the home of ginseng with a history spanning approximately 1,500 years, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival offers a wide variety of experiences and attractions for visitors of all ages, including ginseng-digging experiences, red ginseng pack massages, red ginseng foot baths, the International Ginseng Trade Fair, and traditional ginseng culture experiences, along with great shopping opportunities. Throughout the festival grounds, visitors can also enjoy healthy foods made with ginseng and medicinal herbs. Held annually since 1981, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival has established a strong reputation as one of Korea’s leading industry-focused festivals, having been designated one of the nation’s top 10 festivals by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism 10 times and selected as the IFEA World Asia Specialty Festival in 2024. It continues to develop into a global festival enjoyed by people from around the world.
