Seoul Architecture Festival (서울건축문화제)

September 9, 2026 - October 18, 2026

Overview

[Nighttime Seokjojeon at Deoksugung Palace] is a nighttime palace-viewing program featuring a guided nighttime tour of Seokjojeon Hall with a professional guide, a terrace café experience where visitors can enjoy the coffee once loved by King Gojong, known as gabaecha, along with desserts while listening to classical music, and a musical performance telling the story of the Korean Imperial Household. Following a pilot program in 2021, it was officially launched in 2022 thanks to its high satisfaction and popularity, and has been held twice a year since 2023. Visitors can enjoy the special experience of traveling back in time to Seokjojeon Hall at Deoksugung Palace, which holds the stories of the Korean Imperial Household, guided by a palace attendant. This multifaceted cultural experience also helps visitors preserve memories of their night at Seokjojeon Hall through “signature palace” photos taken with props from the Enlightenment period and commemorative souvenirs.
