*The food and beverage information below is from the previous festival held in 2025, and the food and beverage information for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* The 26th Sancheong Korean Medicine Herb Festival is a Korean medicine and wellness festival held against the backdrop of the value of Donguibogam, a UNESCO Memory of the World, and the pristine natural environment of Jirisan. Held throughout Donguibogam Village, the festival offers a variety of programs, exhibitions, and performances introducing the history and culture of traditional Korean medicine under the themes of health and healing. Through themed programs such as Sancheong Hyeminseo, My Body’s Herbal Remedy Experience, and the Korean Medicine Wellness Pavilion, visitors can experience anti-aging and healthy lifestyle practices firsthand. The festival also features local specialties, cultural performances, and family-friendly programs, making it a cultural event that people of all ages can enjoy together. It serves as a platform for promoting Sancheong’s Korean medicine and herbal medicine resources, anti-aging industry, and health and healing tourism resources both domestically and internationally. In addition, the festival aims to introduce Sancheong’s Korean medicine culture to the world by expanding content for international tourists and strengthening overseas promotion, with the goal of developing the Sancheong Korean Medicine Herb Festival into a global festival visited by people from around the world.
